"My experience at CYIA summer camp was absolutely amazing! All of the students and teachers were awesome and it taught me so much about God and how to teach children about Him. I would absolutely recommend CYIA to anyone who is passionate and willing to teach kids about Jesus!"
Ja'Riah Moore, 13yrs
Christian Youth In Action® (CYIA™) is a program designed to train a team of young people in effective and engaging ways to teach children about God. Youths will attend a one to two week training school where they will learn to present the Gospel clearly on a child's level, counsel a child for salvation and lead a dynamic club ministry for kids.
Students ages twelve to eighteen and young adults from around Ohio are coming together to reach the children of your community – and YOU c an be a part of this team!
What is 5-Day Club?
During the summer months children come together in different locations where they can gather safely for five consecutive days to hear the Gospel clearly presented through Bible lessons, a missionary story, exciting games, songs, and activities. Youth will receive training through CYIA on how to conduct a 5-Day Club and also teach a club during that week of training. Each summer thousands of children around the world come to know Christ through 5-Day Club!
Who will I expect to serve with?
Students serving in CYIA come from different church backgrounds throughout Greater Cincinnati. Each person who serves has a place to be an encouragement to other students while preparing for the mission to reach children with the Gospel.
Does CYIA cost anything?
Like missionaries, each participant is responsible for raising support to help cover their training costs and materials. The cost for CYIA is $450. CEF® staff will coach and assist throughout the process.
