Since CEF® was founded in 1937, we have been pursuing our mission of evangelizing boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We make progress in this mission every day thanks to the help of local volunteers and generous supporters. By working together, we can bring the Gospel to children from Greater Cincinnati to the far reaches of the earth.
Children and teens are hungry for hope. The Gospel message has the power to transform the lives of the next generation.
"A lot of people are hungry for this hope. It's what they're missing."
Eric Baker, CEF Greater Cincinnati Volunteer
God has given His people a clear commission to reach every creature with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
- Matthew 28:19
CEF of Greater Cincinnati provides training and resources to effectively equip our volunteers to share the Gospel message.
Training includes how to lead a child to Christ, particularly through the Wordless Book, taking the fear out of sharing the Gospel.
CEF takes care of the major logistics of clubs and other outreaches by providing insurance, training, and mentorship.
Teams come to the partnership with the most important ingredient: God’s people. Partnering with CEF leads to changed lives.

Good News Clubs
CEF volunteers
Good News Club® is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in which trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, churches, and more!
5-Day Club® is a free, 90-minute Bible program held each day in the summer for five consecutive days for children ages five to twelve.
Christian Youth In Action® is a program designed to train a team of other young people in effective and engaging ways to teach children about God.
Children and families love special events. Whether seasonal or themed, families flock to fairs, festivals, and performances.
Party Clubs include a Gospel-centered Bible lesson, games, a memory verse, songs, and more to teach children about the Good News.
The first stage is an introductory call with Rocky Smith, our Local Director. This call will help you gain a better understanding of our organization and enable you to make an informed decision about your volunteer role.
All volunteers are required to undergo a national criminal background check and complete a volunteer application process. Then we will schedule a group training session or you can attend on of our regular in-person training sessions.
Once you have completed the volunteer application process, we send and mentor you to begin ministering to the children, whether it’s in a Good News Club, a 5-Day Club, or serving at our fairs and festivals booth during the summer.
