Child Evangelism Fellowship® is a Bible-centered nonprofit organization of born-again believers. Our mission is three-fold:
Evangelism is most effective among children and CEF® is dedicated to reaching them for the Lord. Child Evangelism Fellowship is the largest child evangelism ministry in the world and reached over 20 million children in 2016. The ministry celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2017 and has a presence in every country in the world except two.
Good News Clubs are at the heart of CEF ministries and meet once a week during the school year in public schools and other locations. In addition to Good News Clubs, CEF conducts summer 5-Day Clubs, county fair ministries and a variety of training opportunities such as Christian Youth in Action.
Quite simply, when churches partner with Child Evangelism Fellowship to reach children in their communities, lives change and churches grow. Good News Clubs are an excellent way to fulfill the Great Commission since children are open and ready to hear the gospel and learn about the Lord. Children from your church can show God's love and concern for their school friends by inviting them to club and these club members' families can be invited to church as part of outreach.
CEF takes care of the major logistics of getting a club started such as contacting the schools, providing insurance and training and mentoring volunteers. Churches come to the partnership with the most important ingredient--God's people. A small team of four people can bring the gospel to the school children.
