Child Evangelism Fellowship of Greater Cincinnati

Child Evangelism Fellowship® (CEF®) is an international, Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, disciple them in the Word of God, and establish them in a Bible-believing church for Christian living.
The Vision
CEF was founded by Jesse Irvin Overholtzer in 1937. As a pastor, Mr. Overholtzer read one of Charles Spurgeon's sermons which stated, "A child of five, if properly instructed, can, as truly believe and be regenerated, as an adult."
The Lord used this statement in Mr. O's life to lead him to begin the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship when he was 60 years old. The ministry has grown into the largest evangelistic outreach to children in the world. CEF is currently ministering in countries around the world and in every state in the U.S.
Evangelize boys and girls in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. "So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish." Matthew 18:14 Disciple them in their Christian lives through the Word of God. "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ..." 2 Peter 3:18a Establish children in a local Bible-believing church where they can continue to grow on a regular basis. "...you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house..." 1 Peter 2:5a

Good News Club® is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in which trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, churches, and more! 5-Day Club® is a free, 90-minute Bible program held each day in the summer for five consecutive days for children ages five to twelve. Christian Youth In Action® is a program designed to train a team of other young people in effective and engaging ways to teach children about God. Children and families love special events. Whether seasonal or themed, families flock to fairs, festivals, and performances. Party Clubs include a Gospel-centered Bible lesson, games, a memory verse, songs, and more to teach children about the Good News.
